When I was a kid my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. Over the summers went to classes at York Art Association and said I wanted to be an Elementary Art teacher when I grew up! In High School I worked with multiple mediums and was an active member of the National Art Honor Society. I went to college to focus
When I was a kid my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. Over the summers went to classes at York Art Association and said I wanted to be an Elementary Art teacher when I grew up! In High School I worked with multiple mediums and was an active member of the National Art Honor Society. I went to college to focus on Art and Art History. Then life happened and I ended up in Nonprofit and Marketing. Which I really enjoyed. My love of the arts never faded, I was always the creative, event planner type. It was later in life that a friend of mine introduced me to Stained Glass. I was able to learn and work under her and build some amazing pieces. A few years ago I relocated to the Lake of the Ozarks to live our best life. I was able to open a small studio where we not only created stained glass but a variety of crafts and paintings, as well as, taught workshops for two years. Now we own a small building on our property and continue to create art and teach.

I use many different mediums, I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to the artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual way. However I work in mostly stained glass. I get so much satisfaction in scoring and snapping the glass! I love the building and touching each individual piece that, together make art
I use many different mediums, I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to the artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual way. However I work in mostly stained glass. I get so much satisfaction in scoring and snapping the glass! I love the building and touching each individual piece that, together make art. I also really enjoy painting, We make hand painted cards for all occasions. We also make bird house and each are painted in a unique way. This has started a little line I call Holiday Houses. Over all, if I can use it to create something, I will!

Growing up on the east coast is a big part of who I am and what I create. Living in the beautiful Ozarks now is always inspirational. The nature and the lake are just amazing to be around. Our small town feels give you an ease that just makes me want to create.
